Visiting the Astral is something most of us don’t do willingly or knowingly. While descriptions vary, the general concept behind the Astral is that it is a plane beyond our current one where, sometimes, you can meet entities not visible on this plane. Many try to practice astral projection so they can visit this other plane. However, getting there consciously is a long endeavor, and the sensation of trying can be off-putting. Why? Well, one reason is your form is not bound to normal conventions in the astral. While changing your astral form is not uncommon, everyone tends to have one or more forms they default to in the Astral.

Figuring out these forms can help tremendously with learning to visit the Astral. Imagine if you’ve been trying to walk in the Astral, only to realize your form is a fish and you should be swimming! Knowing things like this can make your ability to visualize and maneuver in the Astral just a little bit easier.
